Thank You Jumble Mash and On My Soapbox

After a less than great day....my truck broke down (fortunately I was close to my cousin/mechanic's shop)...I logged on to find that my lovely daughter Jumble Mash has given me the Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award....

I'm required to list five guilty pleasures....which is hard for me because I don't feel guilty...but here goes

1. Chocolate...in just about any form...I love brownies!!!
2. Giving my girls a "discount" when they repay a loan :-)
3. My iPad
4. Playing a new game on my Xbox
5. Reading a book that is even better than I expected it to be.

I'm happy to pass this beautiful award along to Holly at The Duvet Monster Scribbles....she may not be able to identify a cow, but she writes a good story :-)

and On My Soapbox gave me the

As a condition of accepting this award, some rules must be followed:

1. Link to the person who gave you this award (in a post, or in your sidebar, wherever you have this).

2.  Pass the award along to seven other people who post about at least slightly amusing things and tell them (by emailing them or commenting on a post, etc.).

3.  Say seven things about yourself that no one knows (or at least you think no one knows).

4.  Pass these rules on.

I wish to pass this to the following bloggers:
Seven Things You Don't Know About Me.....Hmmmm
1. Baseball bores me to tears...would rather watch bowling!
2. I worked with troubled teens for about two years
3. I've been in all 50 states...and a bunch of countries
4. I enjoy woodworking
5. It took me 14 years to get a 4 year college degree!
6. I owned/raced a dirt track stock car in Australia
7. I'm having no luck with Match.com :-)
Hope everyone has an awesome Monday!!!

I went thru the site again and its the same people that were on 5 years ago... does that tell u anything.. Never again will I do an online site.

Congrats 2X. Good list you're passing them onto. I forget you live in WV. I had lots more to choose from living in Hartford, CT when doing the online thing. Listen, if anything, I had some great sex from Match .com. Hahahaha

Chief, I have something over at the hobbit for ya but I think you will find it somewhat, redundant.

Baseball is indeed, one of the most boring televised events, right behind Jackass and The Bachelorette.

Re: #5: I started college in 1990. It's now 2011 and I still don't have my bachelor's degree. You win.

P.S. I told you to give the potato chick a chance. Nobody ever listens to me.

Don't give up on match.com! Many of my friends have met their spouses that way. My brother met his wife that way, and she is awesome. Not sure why she married my annoying brother, but I'm glad she did!
