Introducing the Warm Fuzzy Award

I crawled out of bed at 6:23 a.m. this fine Saturday morning with nothing more on the day's agenda than doing some laundry, maybe taking BigSis to lunch and a little shopping (my pants keep shrinking).  I turned on my trusty iPad and decided to check out what was happenin' in Blogville...yes, I was in the bathroom at the time but that has no bearing on the story...so I hit the link to Colenic's place, A Smile A Day and was treated to one of the best posts I've ever read!!!

If I had a million dollars... is simply one of the nicest, most thoughtful, generous ramblings....I was so impressed with it...I was inspired to create and present Colenic with the inaugural Warm Fuzzy Award!

As you can see...either I spent big bucks to have a 5 year old graphic designer create the award or I'm a seriously piss poor artist...take your pick!

The rules to the Warm Fuzzy are simple....there are no rules...you don't have to tell me anything...you don't have to link to me...you aren't obligated to pass it on...just sit back, relax, and bask in the glory of knowing you touched someone :-)

A lot of the other awards have been pretty and stylish but this is just darn cute and I am sure Col will be overjoyed. I can't wait to see what her blog is all about. Have a great weekend.

nice gesture, and that is what i love most about this bloggerer thingy...so many real people, just being real...and nice to each other!

sounds hokey, but reality is so negative, so much of the time, it is great when it is positive!

What an awesomely cute warm fuzzy and such a touching Award too.

Oh and you are obviously washing in water that is way too hot, if it keeps shrinking your pants :).

This one almost got a rofl!

OK, you got me, I just added your blog to my following list. I don't know if you will consider this an honor but I do not have a foot long string of blogs I follow. I just follow the ones that make me laugh.

Thanks for the rofl

Sorry, me again, I forgot to ask you if I could use your Warm, Fuzzy Award? I like the little guy. I think i will need to come up with some of my own, too!

And, If possible, would you check out my blog for today, "A Tweek to Remember."

No, I didn't just write you to get you to look at mine, I am like any other blogger, trying to interest others in my blot. kt

Chief aka Dad http://unsoundreasoning.blogspot.com said...

@kt...yep, you can use the warm fuzzy as long as you don't add any rules to it...I want it to be an award that doesn't cause the receiver any work :-)

Dad reading your last comment, I agree with that. I love getting awards but they've all seemed to come out of the woodworks at once and its hard thinking of new and wonderful things to share but then to find x amount of people to pass it on to.

I was wondering if you'd share some stories of your childhood. As being a boy I'm sure you got up to a lot of mischief.
