What a Wednesday!!!

Could someone please turn off the friggin' snow already???  I am so sick of this crap.  OK, now that's out of my system...how's everyone doing tonight?  A sincere hello and welcome to those brilliant folks that have decided to become followers!  I have a great give-a-way in mind.  When I hit a bazillion followers, I'm going to give away one of my kidneys!!!  I do have two don't I?  Wait...maybe my appendix...I still have that but who would want an appendix?  Actually, now that I think of it...I have all of my original parts...tonsils, wisdom teeth, and my brain is worth a million dollars...cause it's never been used!!!

The teddy bear has absolutely nothing to do with this post but when I looked at pictures of kindeys and appendix...s (what's the plural of appendix?)  they kinda grossed me out...and I thought some of you might have just eaten so I opted for the cute teddy bear.  Very thoughtful aren't I :-)

Facing 50 With Humor has honored me with the unique Memetastic Award...thank you Facing 50 :-)  What makes this award unique is that I have to tell y'all four lies and one truth and see if you can pick out the truth!  As fun as this sounds, like most men (back me up Bruce, Odie, ib, Jimmy and all other males in the house) I find it extremely difficult to be anything other than painfully honest...a lie is sooo alien to the male gender but in the sense of fun and fair play, I'll give it a try :-)

1.  I have had the good fortune to personally meet two sitting U.S. Presidents....Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

2.  I have urinated on every active U.S. military flight line in the Pacific theater

3.  My mother's step brother was President Johnson's driver

4.  I used to keep bees as a hobby.

5.  When I was 12, I broke both legs at the same time when I wrecked my bicycle...I ran into a mailbox and over a hill!

Wow...that was exhausting....but somehow liberating at the same time :-)  Now I get to share the fun with a few folks, I hereby bestow the Memetastic Award to

Mrs. Hyde @ A Bitch Called Mom

                             Starlight @ Crazy Thoughts

Becca @ My Life

Just Sayin' @ Dumb Homosapiens

Enjoy!!!

Yes Sir I will back you up 100% here, I know how hard it is for a guy, especially ones like you, Bruce, Odie, and I to tell anything but the truth.

I'm going with you meeting Carter and Clinton

I'm saying the bees is a lie. I hope I'm not insulting anyone, especially not you... but BEES? Who in their right mind would do that?
:P

I gotcha back Chief Dad. Lying is difficult because we are no good at it. That said, I think that fact/lie number 2 is actual truth. I figured that because I have pissed on the outside of every bar in Northern Indiana, it would not be out of the realm of possibility for you to have peed your way across the Pissific, sorry, Pacific.

Ouch both legs at the same time??

Gonna go #1 as the truth considering your history in the Military. Of course I am really only guessing

Wow, how did you come up with so many creative lies :)? As you probably crossed the Pacific to get to Australia and back, and guys and their bladder... so I'm thinking maybe the truth is number 2. Although a lot of effort was put into your mother's step brother one too... choices, choices!

Thank you so much for the award, it's an honour.
I would also go with the #5, others seem much less possible. Did I guess correctly?

Congratulations! I'm going to go with #5.

Ok I don't even know which one is the truth. And really? It's hard to men to lie? Really? Not buying it.

I love the new look! Thanks for the award, it's going to be difficult to tell a lie, I'm not used to it. I am not even going to try to pick out yours because fuses all seem a bit out of the ordinary. Enjoy the rest of your week!

After reading your posts I go with #2 because it is the most outrageous... ... ... and that adjective does fit!

Wow! I haven't been by for a few days and all of a sudden, I come by and you've redesigned your blog and you have about 25 new followers! WOW! Way to go! I love the new look. It suits you. And hahaha to the teddybear. And isn't the plural of appendix, appendiciesss? Or something? lol. Wait. You can't really have more than one appendix, so why would you need a plural? and it's not like you have a room filled with people who all had their appendixes out. No. They'd be people who all had their appendix removed. Woudln't they? yikes.

snow huh? bummer. and here you are with a shaggin wagon and a canoe. darn.

Krissy said...

I'm going with #2 being the truth. I'm pretty sure that the plural is appendices, but I sure hope you don't have two of those!

Congrats on the award, and I love the new look, too.

I once fell asleep (yes you heard it) asleep on a bike and crashed into a, fortunately, parked car. It was early in the morning and I was doing a paper-round. I had thought I had got away with it but some months later when I traded my paper-round for a Milk one, I discovered that Milky had seen the incident. I think he only gave me the job so he could rib me mercilessly about the event. It took me a while to adjust to a milk round, apparently people objected to having the milk poured through their letterboxes……

Lyndylou said...

I'm going with the bike story cos that would just be the kinda thing that would happen to you!! lol

Hey I don't need your kidney or your appendix, I get all of you cos your moving in!!! tee hee hee

gewuerzgurke said...

Well that's kinda what I was implying, in a nice way though, because people in their right minds are well boring!

Chief aka Dad http://unsoundreasoning.blogspot.com said...

@Copyboy...thanks

@BlackLOG....now that takes mad skills to fall asleep on a bike!

@lyndylou....yep...you get all of me...tonsils and everything :-)

@gewuerzgurke...lol...no need to be nice to me, we're friends :-)

Thank you, honey! I like those award conditions, so I may actually participate in this one. Maybe.

I can't figure out which one is the truth, so I guess that makes you a better liar than you thought. There's hope for you yet.
