Not bad for a Monday

The response from you guys is amazing and enlightening...no wonder JM thinks so highly of you all :-)  This is a short week at work so I figured it would be pretty slow...wrong again!  First we had a meeting where people got yelled at for misusing official vehicles...for once, I could sit back and watch everyone else squirm cause I'm innocent of that charge...yay me.  Then a redistribution of work was layed out due to a couple people leaving...several unhappy whiners after that announcement...I dodged the bullet on that one too!

Got to talk to JM a couple times after coming home...y'all have no idea what a hoot she is...she cracks me up.  Called JM's eldest sister (heretofore to be known as Big Sister) to let her know that Christmas is only 32 days, 3 hours, 30 minutes and 23 seconds away...she is truly the Spirit of Christmas, she gets more excited now than when she was 3!!!  She's going to come up Wednesday night to put up my Christmas tree...she already has two up at her place.

I asked JM to get me a mail order bride for Christmas but she doesn't seem to be working very hard at finding me one :-(  Time to spend a little quality time with my XBox...I know, I know...but maturity is over rated :-)  Y'all have a good night!

Hey Xbox is very big for us 50 and 54 year old kids here. You're in good company. If I see any ads for mail order brides I'll be sure to let JM know.

Oh maturity is completely over-rated. That's why blogging is so much fun. Everyone is so forgiving.

My dad has a rule that he won't date any girls younger than me. *shudders* I'm 30...he's 61.

Oh! I noticed you followed my blog, thanks! BUT-the one you joined will be closing up shop come the end of the year, so I was hoping you could mosey on over to the new blog www.hedabovewater.com. Thanks! hed

Short weeks always seem crazy don't they? Thing is, with running a day care, short weeks for the kids, means longer weeks for me!

who says you have to be mature just because you get older

@becca and Sandra...hope you guys are right, I think it's to late to hope maturity will catch up with me :-)

@CBG...lol...so, you're a glutton for punishment huh? Don't think I could run a day care...too much stress !

@Barb...thanks for keeping an eye out...I think JM sees me getting a bride as a conflict of interest for her future inheritance...the more I know people, the better I like my XBox!

If I weren't married, I'd totally volunteer to be your mail-order bride, simply because you seem funny, and well, then I could be JM's stepmomma! HAHAHAHA.

Don't go down the mail order bride route, it can get very embarrassing especially if they try and deliver when you are out and you don't remember to collect them for a couple of days. You either end up with a very hungary woman who is in a very bad mood with you or a lot of explaining to the local authorities why you are trying to return an emaciated dead body to sender…..
