Hello boys and girls

How's everyone doing this evening?  Great, I hope.  I just stopped in to say a quick hello and to let y'all know that I haven't forgotten you...or hit the lottery...or found Ms. Right (not even Ms. She'll Do)...or anything else that is a reasonable excuse for not blogging.

The truth is much simpler...I haven't been feeling at all inspired lately.  Work pretty much is an exercise in which I count the number of my brain cells that die from boredom each day....and it really pisses me off that I have co-workers that are actually PASSIONATE about this crap....what the hell am I missing?

We're getting very close (two weeks) to BigSis moving....not happy at all about it but my vote was over ruled.  I will be renting the Uhaul, loading, driving 5 hours, unloading....all while wishing she wasn't going...oh well, life is a pain in the ass....what are ya gonna do?

Jumble Mash has been wrapped up with work, BF and having Bowen's balls cut off....I don't care what anyone says...he looked sad after it was done :-(  I can't imagine how over protective she'll be as a mother...you'd think Bowen was her child the way she babies him!  For example, I volunteered (cause I'm good like that) to babysit Bowen while her and BF go to Niagara Falls....she turned down my offer because I wouldn't agree to letting Bowen sleep in my bedroom!

LilSis turned 21 on Monday...yes, that makes me so old I fart dust!  Took her, BigSis and BigBird (LilSis' BF) out to dinner...had a nice evening and LilSis got the largest caramel sundae I've ever seen...no kidding, it had to be a foot tall and must have been a half gallon of ice cream!!!

The weather has finally warmed up just enough that I can spend a little time in the wood shop.  I built JM a bookshelf that we designed together...she helped paint it....I think she got more paint on her and the floor than she did on the shelf...but it was fun.  I actually delivered it in the snow last Saturday...she seems to like it.

I also built BigSis a coffee table for her new place.  I put the second coat of varnish on it this evening and will finish up over the weekend and I made LilSis a wooden sign with her new dogs name engraved in it...she wants to mount it on Athena's crate.

Time for bed...hope all is well with everyone.

Well, Hello.....I was wondering what had happened to you. I think this winter put all of us in the doldrums for a while. Now, with spring upon us most of us will probably slow down anyway. I know I will because I love to get outside. I have cut back to only 4 posts a week and may cut back more.

I made a big mistake by following too many blogs.
It seems to take me forever to get around to everyone.
Glad you are back, though.....kt

I feel your pain with the work, with the exception that NO ONE at work is passionate about anything to do with work. It's so slow and so boring. Ugggh!!!

I thought for sure that Bigfoot came out of the WV hills and got you. Whewwww. Thank goodness you are alive and well! I predict in a couple weeks when spring blooms finally, you'll start feeling pretty good again. You've at least been keeping busy. Good to hear from you!

Oh, *there* you are! I thought you were backpacking your way around the world or something. ;-)

You are such a nice Dad, making furniture for your daughters. Every time they see that bookcase or table, they will think of you. :-)

I think you should quit your job and travel the world as a vagrant. That would be fun!

You have been missed. Where I work it hasn't been boring but it has been stressful & this has been a week that makes me want to take a road trip. You've heard the expresssion "you can't fix stupid" I have 5 technicians that act like children way too often causing me a lot of grief. Hope your weekend goes great.

So funny, but I agree, my dog looked pissed off for quite some time after we got his balls cut off too.

Good to see you, sounds like you have stayed busy otherwise, I hear ya about feeling inspired, I've had so much uninspiring crap going around my place that I completely understand what ya mean.
